Kostya Hakman( student 6 form) with Volodimir Kopotienko (teacher astronomy) saw the Moon and the stars.

Hello YouthCaNers!
My name is Kate Kinashuck. I'm 13 and study in form 8–a, in gymnasium N 2 and I like my school very much.

On the 20th of April I with my friends were observing the night sky and Moon.
It is very interesting to observe the sky at night, to see the constellation, the stars and the planets.
The sky represents an ever-changing picture as it goes round the Polar Star at night.
This nightly motion is, of course, the result of the earth's rotation about its axis. As is know it takes it 24 hours to complete a rotation.

The picture of the sky changes not only from hour to hour, but from minute
to minute... as on my picture " Moon and shooting stars''.

Best wishes

Hello! My name is Sasha. I'm 15 and I like informatic a lot.

My name is Zhenya. I'm 14 and I like music, and I'm going to be a journalist.

On the 20th of April (On the Astronaut's day) we ( Oleg, Kostya , Yuriy and T.T. ( our teacher)) were observing the night sky with a lot of stars. Our excursion began at 7p.m. and lasted until midnight. We saw the Moon, Jupiter and the "Swan's" constellation.
We took a camera. Konstantin Gakman took photographs of everything that happened.

There were 2 telescopes at the site and passers - by could observe too. We shoot the film about our adventure. We have learned that not everyone has seen the Moon through the telescope. It's our friendly group of Gymnasium N2 and school N33 that is called "Star school". Their Astronaut's Club invited us to watch the planets and stars. It was impressive!!! It wasn't a planet's parade but it was parade for our souls!!! Moon was wonderful and beautiful!

Now we are living in the Cosmos era. Rockets have been sent to the Moon, round the Moon, giving us views man had never seen before.

With appreciation and gratitude
