Hi everyone,
On July 20, 2002 Wileyda, Michael, Alvaro, Jay, my cousin Enid, and myself David went on the July hike. We went to Bull Hill in Cold Springs NY We hiked about 900ft above sea level (It seemed like more). We got to Cold Springs at about 10:30 a.m. and started hiking at 11:00 a.m. The first 1/3 of the hike was about the worst part but after that it was not that hard. |

| At the beginning of the hike we ate raspberries and saw a couple of lizards. When we got to the first rest stop it was well needed for us. We were able to see the whole town. It was a beautiful sight. Never the less we had to continue. | ||||||||||
| While on the way up the rest of the hike I spotted a small hole in the ground. I called Jay over and he discovered a very large type of beetle in the hole. Sadly it was dead. After that we continued up to the top where we ate lunch and relaxed for awhile. At the top of Bull Hill the sight of the town was even more breath taking. | ![]() |

| Once we finished relaxing we descended toward the bottom of the mountain. I think it was harder to go down the mountain then it was to go up. We had some difficulty while going down but we made it out alive. We made our train on time and that was the end of our hike. | ||||||||||
