January 26, 2002: The overnight Campers.

8:50 AM meet at Hoboken Train Station Click here for directions.

• Take the B, D, F, N, R, Q, W or V subway to 34th Street then
  
• Take the New Jersey Path train from 33rd Street and Broadway to Hoboken Terminal.
• Meet at the ticket booth in the waiting room.
  

9:20 AM Train number 71 on the Port Jervis line departs Hoboken, NJ.

10:11 AM Train Arrives at Tuxedo Park Station.

Meet Jim Van Tassell and other camper who travelled by car.

There are many trails in this area, depnding on weather and hiking speed we will select trails. Our final destination will be the camp site at Dutch Doctor Mountain.

At some point during the weekend we will be doing some water color painting.

We will be camping in cold conditions in tents so it is VERY important that all participants have adequate sleeping bags and other camping equipment. Please consult the main YouthCaN Hike the World page for some ideas about equipment needs.

January 27, 2002: The Day hikers coming from New York City.

8:50 AM meet at Hoboken, New Jersey Train Terminal (Exact meeting location to be posted here soon with photographs for easy location)

• Take the New Jersey Path train from 33rd Street and Broadway to Hoboken Terminal.
  
• Meet at the ticket booth in the waiting room.
  

9:20 AM Train number 81 on the Port Jervis line departs Hoboken, NJ.

10:11 AM Train Arrives at Tuxedo Park Station.

This group will catch the trail into Harriman Park and meet the overnight campers at a spot to be determined.

Sunday evening hikers will catch the train back to New York from Tuxedo Park.
