Saturday February 23, 2002: The Overnighters and Day hikers.

8:50 AM meet at Hoboken Train Station Click here for directions.

• Take the B, D, F, N, R, Q, W or V subway to 34th Street then
  
• Take the New Jersey Path train from 33rd Street and Broadway to Hoboken Terminal.
• Meet at the ticket booth in the waiting room.
  

9:20 AM Train number 71 on the Port Jervis line departs Hoboken, NJ.

10:06 AM Train Arrives at Sloatsburg Station.

Meet Jim Van Tassell who travelled by car. He will shuttle us to the trail.

There are many trails in this area, depending on weather and hiking speed we will select trails. The Day hikers will start going back after lunch or so. The Train going back to Hoboken/New York City leaves at 1:40PM and 6:30PM, the last one of the day is at 10:56PM

The Over nigthers' final destination will be the camp site at Horse Stable Mountain.

We will be camping in cold conditions in tents so it is VERY important that all participants have adequate sleeping bags and other camping equipment. Please consult the main YouthCaN Hike the World page for some ideas about equipment needs.

Sunday February 24, 2002: The Overnighters going to New York City.

Sunday evening hikers will catch the train back to New York from Sloatsburg at 6:31 PM and arrive in Hoboken at 7:20 PM.
