Araya forest, Lebanon

Planet Discovery for people leaving from Beirut

  • The group will be divided into 2 subgroups for different explanation. After the arrival, we will start with a short brief on the Araya forest, then the 2 groups will spread to start the hike. On the way both groups will be receiving some photocopies on the subjects and the problems that they will encounter (polluted river, agriculture and chemical effects on the nature, forestry, acid rain,...) also we will have some small microscope jars for collecting and analyzing insects. From time to time the instructors will stop to explain and answer questions. The hike should take around 2 hour 30 minutes of time.
  • Make sure you have: caps, sun-protection, water and snacks.
