Become educated about the Bronx River environment through several student multimedia approaches with different tools involving ecoTV, ecoGames, ecoWeb, ecoSound, and ecoPhoto. See an amazing project unravel before your eyes as students in this ecological workshop, translate ideas like invasive species or watershed physics.

Learn about the awesome observations that students attending QHSSYC as well as YouthCaN members have been collecting as they monitor and test water at the Alley Pond Nature Center. Watch closely as changes in the environment quickly take a sudden turn over a course of only a few months.

**Get the message out: Producing Public Service Announcements**

Urban Oasis, students, recognizing the need to Get the Word Out about pollution, decided to make PSA’s Public Service Announcements. The students chose the issues, wrote the scripts, built the sets, and filmed the PSA’s. The messages are simple and direct offering solutions that ordinary people could do to reduce our Eco Foot Print.

Green Ribbon School- Video Conference

This project is a collaborative global effort to develop for a “Green Ribbon School” (GRS) program (the purpose is to acknowledge schools which meet these environmental standards.) Participants completed indoor and outdoor surveys, researched and developed criteria, and presented via video conferences, skype and moodle web interactions.
