| Activity Day, 21 April 2007 is in the works!
Hello Fellow YouthCaNers~!
Activity Day is a Saturday Outing where YouthCaNers enjoy the environment of New York and meet each other as well.
The Activities for this Year's Activity Day are:
- Water testing and Tidal Marsh exploration at Alley Pond Park in Queens New York. This trip will be lead by the Take-A-Dip team from Queens High School for the Sciences at York College Start 8:00 AM
- We will join the New York Restoration Project team for EARTH DAY IN THE “GARDEN OF EDEN.” Celebrate Earth Day by helping to beautify this urban oasis. Join us as we plant flowers and paint the garden’s casita. The Mildred T. Rhodebeck “Garden of Eden.” is located at 927 Faile Street, Bronx. Co-sponsored by City Year.
Start at 8:00 AM
Each trip will leave from the Central Park West steps of the American Museum of Natural History.
Participants will be responsible for the cost of transportation (We will be taking the NYC Mass Transit system subways and buses. Fare varies depending on the type of Metro Card you are using.)
