We need to know who is gonna come to activity day with the NYC YouthCaN. For those of you who don't know what activity is, I can tell you. Activity Day is the Saturday before the conference and during this day we take some of the people who are coming to the conference and we explore some areas in New York. This year, we have decided to have two places for Activity Day since so many people are coming this year. So the choices for Activity Day this year are: 

 a. Queens Botanical Garden (http://www.queensbotanical.org/)- At the garden we have agreed with Lois, the head of the volunteers at the garden that he will let us come help them mulch trees that have already been growing at the Garden. We are supposed to be at the Garden at around 9:30 am and I am guessing that we can leave at any time we want. We probably going to break for lunch or maybe go for lunch after we are done. There is a limit to the amount of people that can come to the Garden so people will have to RSVP for the event.

b. The Palisades (Trail Map: http://www.njpalisades.org/map01.pdf)- for the Palisades we plan on walking over the George Washington Bridge to Palisades Intersate Park, where we are going to hike the trails. We are going to meet at the museum at around 8:30 am then we are going to take the train to the George Washington Bridge. After we cross the bridge we are going to hike along the cliff and then down the cliff for some wonderful views the Hudson River and Manhattan. We'll have lunch then hike back over the George Washington Bridge to return to the Museum.
