Project Description:
What comes to mind when you hear the word Alaska? If you can only come up with the word ice, then you need to be informed. The consequences of Alaska being used as an oil drilling land site will be discussed with emphasis on its environment.

This project is appropriate for students age 14 to 18 years old.

It is planned that this project will be presented at the New York City YouthCaN conference on April 29, 2002 as a hands-on workshop/discussion group.
